Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how PAV Recycle supplies waste removal, clearance, strip-out, muck-away, mini-digger and material-delivery services. They apply alongside the details agreed in your quote or booking.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the information, photographs, quantities, waste types, weights, access conditions and labour requirements supplied before the job. Unless stated otherwise, a quote covers only the work and waste described. If the actual volume, weight, material, access, loading time or disposal requirement is different, we will explain any price change and seek agreement before additional chargeable work continues.

Bookings and timing

A booking is confirmed when we accept the job and agree the service, location, expected price and attendance arrangements. Arrival times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Traffic, disposal-site availability, weather, unsafe conditions or earlier jobs may cause delay. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

Access and customer responsibilities

You must have authority to request removal of the items and provide safe, reasonable access to the waste or work area. You must tell us about stairs, long carries, parking restrictions, difficult access, excessive weight, hidden material and any hazardous or restricted items. You are responsible for obtaining parking permission or permits unless we agree otherwise.

Waste we cannot automatically accept

Asbestos, chemicals, medical or clinical waste, explosives, fuel, unidentified liquids, gas cylinders and other hazardous or regulated materials are not included unless specifically accepted in writing. Fridges, mattresses, upholstered seating, paint, electrical items and other specialist waste must be disclosed because separate handling or charges may apply.

Changes, additional work and aborted visits

Extra work or waste not included in the agreed quote will only be undertaken after the change is discussed. A reasonable attendance or cancellation charge may apply where we arrive as agreed but cannot perform the service because access is unavailable, the description was materially inaccurate, the items are unsafe or prohibited, or the customer cancels after resources or disposal arrangements have been committed. Any charge must be explained and must comply with your statutory rights.

Cancellations and consumer rights

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. Consumers may have statutory cancellation rights for contracts agreed at a distance or away from business premises. If you expressly ask us to begin work during an applicable cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services supplied up to the time of cancellation. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is completed unless different terms are agreed in writing. Business customers must pay invoices by the stated due date. We may pause further work where an undisputed payment is overdue.

Waste transfer and title to items

By handing items to us, you confirm that you own them or have permission to dispose of them. Once collected, waste will be transported to an appropriate authorised facility. Waste-transfer documentation can be supplied where applicable. PAV Recycle’s Waste Carrier Licence number is CBDU594218.

Damage and liability

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Please identify fragile surfaces, concealed services or other risks before work begins. We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information, unsafe access, pre-existing defects or matters outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Complaints

If something is wrong, contact us promptly with the job details and any supporting photographs so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and put matters right.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
